Are self employed eligible for MPPI cover

Yes – to be eligible to claim for unemployment cover your client must have involuntarily ceased trading because they could not find enough work to meet their business and living expenses and have declared this to HM Revenue and Customs.
Your client will not be eligible to claim if they reasonably believed or knew they would cease trading when the policy was taken out.
